La France championne olympique de Handball

Les Français ont décroché la médaille d'or du tournoi de handball aux Jeux olympiques de Pékin en battant l'Islande en finale 28-23 (15-10 à la mi-temps).
La médaille de bronze a été remportée par l'Espagne, victorieuse en match pour la troisième place de la Croatie 35-29.
