Christian Dior is focusing on expansion in new markets, among which is China. Indeed, Christian Dior Couture added two more points of sale, one each in Dalian and Chengdu with a total of 6 stores over China and new openings are planned in 2008.

Your missions will be:
The essential job duties:
- Plan, develop, implement and execute media strategy for China market with the Regional Marketing team
- Establish good local PR/Press relations and arrange PR/Marketing activities
- Responsible for planning and organizing seasonal/ promotional/ in-store events
- Attend and report on press appointments
- Provide ongoing information on the support and effectiveness of individual editors and publications
- Evaluate and execute all broadcast requests
- Work to ensure a cohesive effort in the media community
- Develop strategy with media (editorial/advertising, merchandising proposals, etc.) and recommend strategy to improve relationship with all media
- Responsible for maintaining and enhancing relationships with editors and journalists to facilitate story placements and exclusives
- Develop yearly strategy and recommend ways for brand visibility in entertainment markets
- Constantly looking for new ways to increase Dior awareness in the local market
- Liaise and communicate with the retail team to ensure the smooth planning and implementation of brand events and communication activities
- Develop and maintain relationships with entertainment community talent, publicists, agents, managers, stylists, etc.
- Target and recommend talent for wardrobing for films and press worthy appearances
- Secure celebrity attendance at events when necessary or appropriate
- Develop CRM strategy for China market
- Constantly looking for new ways to increase Dior awareness in the China market

- Annual marketing budget
- Year plan of marketing events
Work Relationship
Internal Contact:
- Retail team – assign suitable manpower in events and communicate corporate strategy to them
- Merchandising – get informed of new products and develop marketing events accordingly
External Contact:
- Customer – implement key concept for our key clients
- Media – maintain leadership in editorial coverage
Your profile:
Education & Professional Qualifications
- Tertiary education or above with major in marketing or other related disciplines
Work Experience:
- Previous experience in retailing of luxury good and service related industry
- Minimum 3 years management experience, preferably in luxury industry
Skills:
- Negotiation skills
- General computer literacy
- People management
- Training & coaching skill
- Language skills: English & Mandarin, other language ability is an added advantage
