MARKETING & COMMUNICATION MANAGER, Shanghai based

Lacoste has more than 925 Lacoste boutiques and more than 2000 corners operating over the world. Devanlay / Lacoste has developed its presence over China: we now have 121 points of sales over China with flagships stores in Shanghai and Beijing.
In order to strengthen our position over the Chinese territory, we are currently looking for our:MARKETING & COMMUNICATION MANAGER. You would be based in our headquarter located in Shanghai.

Your missions will be:

Advertising:
- Media planning of print and outdoor
- To call key sales and liaise with Ad Agency for best placement for each issue
- To handle all related production
- To negotiate as much editorial support through advertising sales
- Implementation of the international policy as well as operational management and control of advertising
- Responsible for maintaining and achieving the annual advertising marketing budget in an efficient manner
- Build the media plan each season, using appropriate and consistent support with the local strategy and the corporate rules
- Handle relation with advertising agency and internet company to insure that brand image is properly used

Press:
- Support PR Manager during press preview and events
- Brain storm on PR angles and events

Events:
- Management of all logistics – event manager for fashion shows, special events, press preview, sales conference

Production:
- To organize all production of key marketing items (packaging, catalogues, retail tools, in relation to shops)
- To work with renovations department to provide as much support

VIP Program/ Promotions:
- To plan with retail department, MIS and Finance to best develop the VIP program
- To work with retail to develop more promotional programs to generate sales

Budgets:
- To manage the budget and maximize use of it

Your profile:
- A first successful experience in PR & marketing, ideally in the fashion industry
- Fluent English and Mandarin a must
- University graduate
- Strong communication skill, good sense of relationship
- Leading spirit, open minded, self-confident and can work under pressure
- Handle difficult and tense situations with diplomacy and tact
